Superbowl of Advertising

I wasn't too interested in the game -- actually I thought the Patriots would win, so it was more interesting than I expected. The best part is the advertising. There is a lot of money on the line, so the creative advertising minds have worked overtime to supposedly come up with their best efforts for the game.

The Advertising Age website has videos of all the Superbowl commercials here. My winner, by far, was the scream video for Bridgestone tires. The second was the clydesdale training for the Anheuser-Busch team. After that I think the e-Trade baby and the FedEx pigeons were pretty good. Did you watch the game? What was your favorite new commercial?

The most memorable for me were the talking stain and the eTrade baby (the 2nd one with the clown was the better of the 2). The beer commercial with the caveman wheel/bottle opener got the best reaction from my kids (that's a little disturbing). Great 4th quarter to the game--one of the more entertaining Super Bowls in a while.

I'll have to go watch them online. I was passed out for most of the game.

I did catch the end though, confusing there with that last 1 second.

The best Superbowl commercial... the 1999 classic, Budweiser's Separated at Birth.
