A Little Produce Problem

About a month ago this story surfaced about a hard-nosed, greater San Francisco area mayor who put a stop to a produce stand being run by a couple little girls. From just the info in that article, it sounds like the mayor was taking the situation immediately to the extreme.

Whew! Apparently I just dodged being busted with a lemonade stand when I was a kid.

I'm not going to lie, produce is a little shady. Like I'm sure mom gave it to them and was like "go work the corner kids" hahaha jk

They should do something more normal like go door to door selling friendship bracelets.... that is normal right? I did that. haha.

If the neighbors don't care - then why does it matter? I doubt these two are going to become part of a huge enterprise! Maybe if they actually talked about it, rather than going to extremes - then the girls could sell their produce and it wouldn't be the end of the world. It's once a year and the growing season isn't THAT long. :) To each his own, I guess...

Obviously, there were no traffic jams on your street in Minnesota when you were selling lemonade. And, of course, us midwesterners like to avoid confrontation.

I believe in zero tolerance.

Sell a melon, go to jail. It's as simple as that. If you don't like it, move to Russia!
